  • Student will be able to combine existing knowledge of research and technology and are more likely to develop an interest in the Native Americans that exist today in Arizona.

Plans Instruction:
  • The objectives alligned to the state standards will be clearly stated on the board in a way for the students to understand what it is they are going to be learing during this lesson

  • TTW carefully plan the student’s research experience that is necessary for understanding.  Effectiveness of time of learning and revising current ideas of the student's research project will keep students on task.  Students will become organized with their materials as they complete their research in a timely manner and all group members will contribute equally.

Designing Instruction:  Group Oriented Project
  • Placing students in groups will build interaction with others to give details, converse, and evaluate ideas, dispute, question, and understand the thoughts of their own peers, so they can be able to get started on their projects.
  • Keeping the students involved with their projects they will collect valuable information from on-line sources  and incorporate writing, sharing, and researching within their groups.

Planning and Assessement

To assess the weekly progress of their project students will need to complete an evaluation for their group.  The teacher will also have my own input on the student’s progress and workmanship on their group’s assignment.  Evaluations will be collected and each student will receive credit and they will also receive feedback from the teacher.
As the students finish their PPT projects, a rubric will be used to assess their knowledge of the use of technology.  How well they used their on-line sources.
